Meet the ESG Team

  • Ms. CHRISTINA

    ELEMENTARY GROUP DIRECTOR

    Christina grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Stanford University in 2000, earning a BA in English and African American Studies, with honors. While at Stanford, she worked with numerous non-profit organizations that serve the East Palo Alto community, including Upward Bound, East Palo Alto Stanford Academy, and the Foundation for a College Education. Christina joined EPATT in 2000 as the College Preparatory Coordinator and is now bringing her knowledge and philosophy of college preparation to the elementary school students and families at EPATT.

  • Ms. PAT

    PARENT LIAISON

    Pat moved from Forest, Mississippi to East Palo Alto when she was eight years old. She attended Kavanaugh Oaks, then Green Oaks, and went on to graduate from Carlmont High School to study computer programming at Cañada College in 1992. Pat began volunteering for EPATT in 1991, assisting staff in the classroom and providing tennis court supervision. She has also worked for the Ravenswood City School District since 1991. She currently works as support staff at Costaño Elementary School before coming after school to work at EPATT with parents and students. Pat helps parents and students to feel welcome, stay fed, and to stay connected with the EPATT program.

  • ADRIAN

    ADMISSIONS, OPERATIONS

    Adrian started at EPATT when he was a sixth grader at Flood Elementary School in East Palo Alto. EPATT recommended him to Pinewood School for his high school education where he thrived and went on to attend St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California, earning a BA in International Area Studies and Spanish. Adrian has worked at American International in Spain, helping Spanish student athletes get information about US colleges’ and universities’ athletic programs. In addition to playing tennis, Adrian enjoys playing soccer and running marathons. Adrian has run marathons in LA, Chicago, Boston, and many more. Adrian is happy to be at EPATT, working in his community to uplift families and students.
